;D I am so Lucky!! my Buddy this year was Sheila Landry!!! Known here as Scrollgirl.
Beautiful ornaments, each one is even signed, and a special hand made card too.  THANK YOU so much Sheila!!!!
The ornaments are on my "tree" which is just a bunch of pine branches stuck in a pot.
But they make my "tree" beautiful.
They will join the special place I have in my in house workroom for every piece I have ever received from the great people here.  They stay up all year !!!
MERRY CHRISTMAS & HAPPY NEW YEAR TO EVERYONE.

Brag Forum / bits and pieces Nativity
« on: October 07, 2014, 01:43:21 pm »
I put this nativity pattern together using bits and pieces of Sue Mey's designs and maybe a bit of Steve's too.  It is cut from 1/4 inch Baltic Birch with the base from 3/8's.  It is tabbed so comes apart for storage.
All cut with Mikes 03 spirals.

;D I want to thank Steve's computer for randomly selecting my name.  Since I had already purchased Steve's Vases patterns, I got the Gift certificate to Amazon.  This old lady has no trouble at all finding something there.
I am going to get router bits for my dremel.
THANKS AGAIN STEVE'S COMPUTER! ;D

General Scroll Saw Talk / Steves blade clamp help
« on: August 05, 2014, 09:28:38 am »
On Steve's email today he showed a DIY blade clamp.  I was wondering if I could convince one of you to make a couple of them for me.  I would be willing to pay what ever you think is a fair price. plus shipping of course.
Sure would appreciate it .

The Coffee Shop / Some day I will grow up ......
« on: June 14, 2014, 11:42:06 pm »
Last Friday evening I was going to take My horse for his  usual run with the 4-wheeler. Something spooked the horse and the lead rope whipped around the throttle. It popped a wheelie, broke the hasp and I went over backwards. the four wheeler ended up against the garage wall going wide open.  I managed to crawl over and get it stopped and got the horse who had been calmly eating grass .  I got him hooked back up, we went for our run, I knew I had hit my back and head pretty hard but thought it would be ok.  Nope. :o ;D about midnight I called Rory, my son, and he took me to the ER in Jamestown. They put me on a helicopter and I spent the next 5 days in ICU with a concussion and a brain bleed. Would have been out of ICU sooner but the hospital was full. But they found me a room on Thursday and I was out on Friday. I have major head aches but it could have been a lot worse.  They say it will be a week or so before I get back to normal.  First we have to figure out what is "normal" for me. :)

The Coffee Shop / April Fools !!!
« on: April 01, 2014, 11:14:29 am »
Hope everyone has a great "APRILS FOOLS DAY"

It is supposed to be spring but we are totally snowed in.  Deep drifts and road closed.
But on a good note..(well depending on your view point)  The coyote killing planes were up this morning.  Heard several very close shots.  We have way too many coyotes.
