My older Brother is into model trains so I decided to make him one. This is a Pedro design. It is the Victorian Fretwork train, made of walnut & Cherry. It was a big change of pace from doing intarsia.

I haven't been on the forum for awhile due to the time of year and it is also the busiest time for work at my real job.
I was finally able to finish a piece last week- The Cross designed by Bruce Worthington
Mostly walnut, some cherry, basswood, aspen & Peru Amarillo.
Hope everyone enjoys it- it is being donated to a faith based non-profit organization

The puppy is a Kathy Wise piece with oak, cherry & walnut
"It is finished" is a Janet Brown design - cypress, ash, cherry, Spanish cedar, aspen, walnut, purpleheart, Peru Amarillo, Paduak - background is a scrap booking paper from the local craft store.

Attached is my latest piece a blue & Gold Macaw- a Kathy Wise design
Yellow is Peru Amarillo
Blue is a dyed Aspen
Green & Gray are dyed & stained pine
Natural woods are Walnut & basswood

The Running horse & snowman cupcake were is the last issue of Scrollsaw Magazine.
Horse is curly cherry, Walnut & Peruvian Walnut with a little basswood for the white of his eye.
Melting Snowman cupcake is African Mahogany, aspen (with a white glaze) & walnut for the arms & nose- eyes & mouth are wood burned

Brag Forum / I Finally Finished "Palm Sunday" earlier today

After starting this piece on Christmas Eve I have finally finished it. It is the largest piece of Intarsia that I have ever done. There are right at 500 pieces. The Piece is 44" tall & 87" wide. There are at least 20 different types of wood.
This is a donation to my Church and we will be hanging it in a couple of weeks.

Sense the weather was to bad to go to work yesterday I Finished this Robin. A Kathy Wise design from her new book on Birds.
Walnut, maple, aromatic cedar, basswood, Peru Amarillo & red oak.
1st person I showed it to bought it.
