Welcome to the site. There a quite a few scrollers in the UK so maybe some of them can refer you to a source.

I feel your pain as I think we have all been there. I'm glad that I'm not the only one who likes the shavings on the floor. I tell everyone that it insulates the floor for warmth. Have had to stop using planer shavings as a friend wants them for mulch for her flowers.

It helps to use really sharp scissors. I have raided the sewing room for scissors but you best be careful as they don't appreciate anyone using their scissors.

Good job. I have done some lettering with the last initial larger and the first initials smaller on each side. Tried it as an ornament but decided that wasn't a lot of fun.

I have found that laying the piece on my 6" belt sander so the paper holds it in place, allows me to use my orbital sander without a problem.

I use Johnson's Paste Wax and it works great. I have never made any worry about the tension as it usually stays where it was when I quit. Have used my Q3 since 94 and no problems.

Nicely done. If you stack that 1/8", it makes it easier to control the cuts and you wind up with more than one for the same effort.
