Where can i find a foot pedal switch for a 788. Also do those plug in to the side of the saw or where?

My EX-21 came with a foot pedal but I have a couple of foot pedals that I got at Harbor Freight. They are $14

I like a dead man switch on the scroll saw but use the tap on tap off on my dremell and my drill press that I have my sanding mop on.
It is easy as the foot petal plugs into the wall and the saw to the foot petal.

Well good deal I have a harbor freight just bout 45 min south of me in columbia. Sounds pretty easy to hook up also. Thanks for the reply.

I got mine from Harbor Freight and there are always 20% off coupons floating around which helps a little. I like the on/off switch and had never used one as I have to sit with my feet off the floor so attached it to the side of the stand and can now bump it with my knee.

I find the HF foot pedals just as good as the higher priced ones, I have a couple and like them.

I got a very sturdy dead man switch unit at amazon for $22.

lighting is a must for scrollers.

Two things I immediately did when I bought my DW788, go to HF and get a foot pedal and replace that wimpy incandescent light ( which will burn you ) with a much brighter LED light. Can not have too much light.
