Title: A couple of glue tips
Post by: gkas on January 31, 2015, 04:37:44 am
A while ago I learned that denatured alcohol will completely release hot glue. Drop a few drops on the glue and the glue comes right off. I didn't believe it until I tried it.

Also, the other day I got tired of running in the house to wash my hands to get off the spray glue residue. Scrub, scrub. I tried spraying WD40 to see if the glue would ball up. It completely removed the glue residue from my hands! Tried it with both Elmer's spray and 3M 77. They both worked.

After the glue is gone, my hands have WD40 on it. So I use Hand Sanitizer so that I don't have to go into the house and wash off the WD40.
