Cool to know.

Let us know if the shipping is reasonable.

I used to buy for cheese knives in bulk for our club and shipping to a US address was $9.95 and $60 to Cdn address as they would only use FedEx and you never know what the brokerage was going to be.

I used to buy cheese cutters and they would only ship to US even thought you had to call with your Cdn credit card.

You never know as I deal at Mikesworkshop for blades and it is seamless.

Yeah it is a pain.

Maybe one of the American friends here could reship via USPS.

I order clamps from Seyco before the border got closed and picked up in Buffallo.  Maybe next year.

Depending on age try Seyco https://www.seyco.com/

What model are you talking about?

Hi Paddy

If you will PM me your email address I will send you a PDF of all the Scroll fonts that I have on file. (47)

I am a font hog.  I save all sorts of stuff some good some okay.

I use NexusFont https://nexusfont.en.softonic.com/to categorize my fonts and so when I have a phrase I can enter it and browse.

General Scroll Saw Talk / Re: MDF & Minwax sanding sealer
« on: September 23, 2020, 02:18:55 pm »
I find that the edges will absorb 2 or 3 coats.  I have used straight shellac too.

After I apply sanding sealer or primer I sand with 220 and usually get a real smooth finish.  I use a cloth type roller.  The foam leaves bubbles that if I use I feather our with brush

I went ahead and attached is a PDF that each page is 8 by 8.  If you use Acrobat Reader poster feature you can up to 150 % which would give you 12x 12.

If you go to 8 1/2 x 11 there is some distortion but is okay.  You would have to figure out how to print.

I will go ahead and enlarge but before I so I want to make sure it is the  Small Nature Scene Shadow Box.  I could not see mini.

The one I looked at is a square 4 x 4.  Just making 8 1/2 11 will distort the image a little but I think it will be okay.

Do you want a PDF or svg.  Each page will be separate if svg.

I have taken a air compressor and blown out the holes too.  With all stains you need to wipe off after a few minutes.

I also have a hanging rack (3/4 inch pine with 2 inch brads go to the other side.  I have a couple to hang ornaments and I have a flat piece that I can sit stuff on too.

I have cut a lot of the miniature compound bird houses and I finish with dipping in a mixture of 50/50 shellac and alcohol.  Let dry and usually good to go. Some times I do twice.

I have done the same for other compound ornaments and have sprayed  with poly.

Just for fun, I cut a candle stick and dipped in red dye and then sprayed with poly.  (I use satin).  This was Keda dye.

Not exactly sure what you are looking at.

Are you looking a what is called Intersecting Word art.  Example below.

If you can explain further please let me know as I have done lots of the intersecting word art.

I have the Ex-21.  Best decision I ever made in workshop machinery.  I have had mine for over 9 years without a problem except I replaced the blade holder with the Pegas holders.  Just sounded like a good idea and they were on sale.  Work well.

I love that the arm stays up and that the head tilts instead of the table.  Makes it easier to do with bowls and baskets.

Our club has 7 DW788 but they are dying with the heavy use they get.

If I was buying today I would look closely at the the Pegas or the King.

In the USA I would also look at the Seyco due to the larger table and the service available.

It was SUNDAY, JANUARY 5, 2020

i don't use the catalog downloader as it is all on line.  I think the DVD and the stick is only up to end of 2019 but I could be wrong.

If you click on my pdf you get pattern.

General Scroll Saw Talk / Re: Blade for 1/2" MDF
« on: August 10, 2020, 08:35:10 am »
MDF is tough on bladed due to the glue.

Do you have pinned or unpinned?

I cut some the other day with Flying Dutchman Ultra Reverse #3 with out any problems.  Left quite a smooth finish but still have to seal edges.

The are unpinned.  If you have pinned blades a #3 or #5 scroll reverse might work.

I just use the catalog on the site.

I typed in "tea" in the search field and there are lots of tea light patterns.

Is this one you are looking for.http://www.stevedgood.com/tealightdog.pdf
