Hi, here is my latest intarsia piece. I cut her from Cherry, Maple and i'm not sure what the wood is I used for her hair. It may be babinga. Found it in my scrap box

Looks great.  Actually, it looks very similar, yet completely different from one I have cut out, ready to start shaping.

I have had the pattern for quite a while. It is a Kathy Wise design, I'm just not sure where I got it. She has a book out called Intarsia & Fretwork Ornament BOOKLET, I know it's on the cover

Very nice. I like the color contrast. Looks good and stained well. Did you just use polyurethane on it?
