i noticed that in alot of post here lately that some words get linked to foolishness is there any way to get rid of it? i find it quite annoying.

If you are talking about the highlighted words in posts that link to other pages etc. then no, there is no way to get rid of them. As long as they are not vulgar, obscene or hurtful we allow them. My suggestion is just don't click on them.  8)
