I know the feeling. My wife is the one who watches that sort of thing. When she called me to watch and listen it was love at first note, then she grew on me. LOL
I was really disapointed when she came in second, in my mind she was THE BEST!
She's eleven now and maturing, her voice is starting to change a little but the quality is still there.
I watched part of that marathon she did in Houston, I hope they don't make her do any more of those, they can tear her voice out.
Remember Tom Jones "What's new pussycat"?
That's what happened to him, and it's happened to others as well.
Call me a protective old granpa!
