His US representative, Kyle Sheffer of Would you Believe What I Saw has a 10% off sale on Volkers patterns which ends Nov 30. You can check out the patterns at WoodYouBelieveShop.com The coupon code is BELIEVE2015

Rick
I use battery mini lights. There are 10 clear lights in the string, just the right amount for a Lichterbogen. I found the vendor on Amazon called Factory Direct Crafts. The cost was $17.94 + shipping for a package of 5 sets.

Dan,
It probably took at least 30 hours to complete over a three week period. I just get short periods of time in between watching kids ( 11 + grandkids) and other retiree duties I volunteer for :)

Hi, Here is a Volker Arnold pattern that I just finished. It's cut from 1/8 in Baltic Birch and has lights. THe pattern comes from ScrollSaw Woodworking & Crafts Holiday Issue 25.  Enjoy, Lejon

Thanks for all your comments.
Yes it is fragile, (1/8 Baltic Birch) and it does light up. My problem is figuring out how to take a picture that would show the details and the lights. I'm open to any suggestions.

I print my patterns in black, but print them on a bright yellow paper. It really helps to see the lines especially since I wear glasses and use a magnifying lamp.

Tom Sevy's son-in-law, Kyle Sheffer,  has taken over sale of the Volker patterns.
His E-mail is:   krunberry@gmail.com and he is putting up a new web site called WoodYouBelieveShop.com

Kyle is a very friendly and helpful guy, and there are so many Volker Arnold patterns, you will have a hard time  choosing. I know I did .
