Nice looking work, Buzz,
I'm not familiar with your saw. Does it allow you to use straight, pin-less blades?
If not, you would be surprised how much difference blade holders that will accept
smaller blades will make.
Looking forward to seeing more of your work.

Greetings!
Since you state that all pieces are cut, this piece of advice may be too little, too late but, when I cut a piece for intarsia, instead of
cutting all the pieces, I cut one piece and use the edge that butts against the next piece to re-draw that line in case I did not cut
the pattern line perfectly.
For assembly, I like to edge glue the pieces on a sheet of wax paper. That gives a little time to slide the pieces around to make sure
I am aligning them properly so all pieces fit as snugly as they did in the dry assembly.
Please show us some of your projects. We do love pictures!

Although I agree with coffeepot and considered the same idea, one draw-back is that the
card stock from most Christmas cards will not be as durable as photo paper.
That may not be much of a deterrent since I doubt that the puzzle will be taken apart and
re--assembled very often.
Just my humble opinions.

Hi, Buzz,
Since you are new, if you ever see posts talking about VEINING, they are referring to
what you are calling accent lines.
When you have time, please send an introduction and some photos of your work.

Thanks for the reply, Lakelad,
I'll have to try that on some scrap also.
Thanks also to KCSteve for the measurements he used for his beeswax.
I never really thought of using that on BB.

I simply use rattle can spray Polyurethane.
Do you have any photos of what the furniture polish finish looks like
on Baltic Birch? I'm interested.

Pattern Requests. / Steve Good's LARGE FAMILY NAME INITIALS
« on: November 14, 2020, 07:23:14 pm »
Greetings,
I wasn't sure where to pose this question for the best response but, I am wondering what font did Steve use in his
pattern called LARGE FAMILY NAME INITIALS in his catalog here https://www.stevedgood.com/catalog/

I don't use Inkscape but, when watching his YouTube video about this pattern, I did not hear the font that he used named.

Thanks for any replies and God Bless! Spirithorse
