Gabby, I live in the Safford area now, but we also have vacation property up in Alpine.  I grew up in Bisbee and Tucson, so I am pretty comfortable at any elevation in the state.

Alpine is aptly named, beautiful country but a bit too cold and snowy for this old desert rat.
We have been to at least a couple of field trials in that area around 9000 feet for those not familiar with the area.
We had a small farm property down South of Wilcox for a while and sold out after nearly loosing our shirt, at least we sold it for more than we paid for it and about broke even. I'm glad we didn't retire there the work would have killed me by now, if the wetbacks didn't do the job first. We were only 50 miles from the border.
Much happy scrolling Brenda.
