The Coffee Shop / Beretta Jetfire .25 Caliber Pistol
« on: April 03, 2015, 01:18:04 pm »
While out walking along the edge of a pond just outside of The Villages here in Florida, my soon to be ex-wife was discussing property settlement and other divorce issues, we were surprised by a huge 12-ft. alligator which suddenly emerged from the murky water and began charging us with its large jaws wide open. It must have been protecting her nest because she was extremely aggressive!!!
If I had not had my little Beretta Jetfire .25 caliber pistol with me, I would not be here today!
Just one shot to my estranged wife's knee cap was all it took. The 'gator got her easily and I was able to escape by just walking away at a brisk pace. It's one of the best pistols in my collection! Plus the amount I saved in lawyer?s fees was really incredible.

LMBO :) :) :)

General Scroll Saw Talk / Re: Blade sliping
« on: March 31, 2015, 11:39:32 am »
First: clean the ends of the blades with Isopropyl Alcohol to remove any machining oil. You should be able to buy it at any pharmacy or grocery store.

Second:clean the blade clamps/set screws with the alcohol also since they have been contaminated with machining oil too.

Third: sand the ends of the blades to rough them up to prevent slipping. DO NOT Sand The Set Screws. :( I know a lot of people recommend it but they have a hardened coating that can be sanded off and will just add to the slipping problem. This comes from most manufactures not me.

Thank you very much and you are welcome. Nice work, it looks great.  :)

Is there any way you can e-mail me a larger photo. I would like to share this on my Facebook page if you don't mind. I try to share any project picture someone sends me of one of my patterns they have used. :)

Thanks,

Very Illegal, College and High School names and logos are trademarks/copyrights, which also covers things like their logo artworks.

Colleges generate significant revenues from licensing their names/logos, and that means they expend significant funds to shut down infringers, Your use of this would be viewed by most courts as flagrant, illegal infringement.

If you get caught the fines are very expensive (in the thousands), far more than you will ever make off the products. I would not do it.
