"Does Photo-Paint or Corel Draw somehow highlight the pieces that will drop out if cut?"

Unfortunately no... I wish it did....That is something you have to figure out on your own... :(

Go to Tools on the top bar and click. You will see a drop down window, click on Customization. Another widow will appear. On the left side you will see a list of Customization's you can make. Click on Edit and the right widow will change. At the bottom you will see three check boxes. Make sure "Double-click to edit bitmaps in PHOTO-PAINT" is checked.

Hope this helps,
Russ

General Scroll Saw Talk / Re: Christmas Ornament Exchange
« on: October 27, 2015, 10:35:04 am »
One, between all the woodworking commitments I have this year and I am also helping take care of my brother who has colon cancer I just don't have time to do the exchange. Two, there is not enough time to get everything done now anyways. We previously started in September and people still didn't seem to have enough time. Now, here it is the end of October, so no way.  Three, I had so many members not receiving there ornaments that I am very aggravated/frustrated. Trust me, I am the one who hears all the complaints and it really bothers me.

Also, very few members seem interested anyways. So there is not going to be an Ornament Exchange this year. Maybe next year....

You can exchange ornaments among yourselves if you want to, you don't need an official exchange or me to do that...I also feel that will solve the problem of members not receiving there ornaments....

Sorry, not trying to hurt anyone's feeling or be the Scrooge here.
Russ

General Scroll Saw Talk / Re: Sanding help.
« on: October 27, 2015, 10:15:26 am »
First off, I use Flying Dutchman Ultra Reverse Blades so I have very little sanding to do. Second, I use a sanding mop on those rare occasions when needed. Third, I will also use emery boards if needed. I cut them to fit the hole needing sanding.

But it is really all about the blade.  ;)

General Scroll Saw Talk / Re: Rusty blades

Sorry but I don't think this is such a good idea. Rust contamination in the blade clamps is an accident looking for a place to happen. There is no way a rusty blade is going anywhere near my saw.

General Scroll Saw Talk / Re: Steve and Russ and the guys talk Scrollsaws
« on: September 23, 2015, 07:56:02 am »
Thanks DW. After some research and found that the problem lies with Google and YouTube. It has to do with a bandwidth problem that is caused by a full panel (10 people). Other people/shows limit there panels to 6 to 9 people and it solves the problem. Also the time of day plays a part to, both are out of my control. Thanks for watching. :)

Thanks Roger, as far as the sound goes I did some research and found that the problem lies with Google and YouTube so I am kind of limited as to what I can do. My show is not the only one with the same problems. It was mostly in the beginning and settled down after that. Unfortunately the questions where from panel members and people watching on YouTube, that is what they wanted to ask. I do appreciate the feed back and again thanks for watching. :)

Thanks Judy. It was great to be able to have Steve on the show. A lot of people go to his blog, read his posts and download his patterns. But they really don't get to see and know Steve like you can in my live show. I hope more members here on the forum will check out my YouTube channel and subscribe. If there are any topics you would like to see on future videos just let me know. I am always looking for ways to help out my friends and I could really use your support... It would really be nice to see some familiar names in the comment section. :) :) :)
