greetings from Canada

Hi,

I'm Jim Cameron (not the director of Avatar), although I like to tell people I am!!  :)

I have been scrolling now for about 15 years.  My wife wanted my son or I to make some chairs for the dolls she made and sold at craft shows.  My son said I needed a scrollsaw.  I said "what is that?"  Well, I bought the cheapest one I could find, and the rest is history.  I now have a Dewalt, and love it.

We don't do craft shows any more, but I like to do very difficult and intricate patterns that take many hours to do.  I do some teaching here in London, Ontario at the advanced level.

My desk at work has many of the signs that Steve posts on his blog on the shelf.  Other workers pop in regularly to see what else I have made and added.
