New to scrolling......got a porter cable scroll saw from Lowe's for CHRISTmas.

I have made a few project already and I like the hobby so far.

Well Howdy Friend What part of Texas you from? Im in the Abilene area.
 Hope to see you around the forum and yes the hobby is a great one but be warned once you start you want wanna stop and we Love pictures on here so be sure to post them....

Hey Toro: Well the more you get into it, the more you'll into it. I've only been doing it about 40-50 years, I've still got a LOT to learn - I hope. LOL ( I spent some time at Ft. Hood - I think the "Rough Riders" had just left when I got their.)LOL Any way, you have found the best group on the internet. Keep making saw dust on your scroll saw, it's easier to chew then what comes off those big machines. LOL

I'm from the Houston area.......work in the oil patch industry.....this hobby can be addicting.  I find myself thinking about my next project to cut, next type of blade to use with new type of wood, & improvements I need to make to my work area.
