on all blades take some 120grit sandpaper and sand both ends of the blade and this will remove the oil that is on the ends of the blades  then take the thumbscrews both top and top and bottom and even the setscrews out and take some sandpaper to those as will then you are all set to go.. have fun

Said he was Officer Rodirigez, but had an Indian accent. Said he was from Dept of Legal Affairs for US Treasury. Used my name and address and said enforcement actions are being taken if I don't call this number back. Said officers will be arresting me tomorrow morning if I chose to neglect calling back this number.

General Scroll Saw Talk / Re: Excalibur , Dewalt or Delta ?
« on: June 25, 2014, 07:44:07 am »
OK - Im thinking about a back up saw -do alot of cutting and im trying to get some opinions
as to which would suit me better - ive heard some horror stories about the old Delta ( delta not making or suppling parts for the older model -worried about the new )
and I also know all three are simalar , and all three come from Taiwan ( at least i think they do -wasnt Excalibur a Canadian company ? )
which would be a better choice -curious about customer support , parts and warranty -- alot of companies out their dont know what that means.
would i pay more for the excalibur -yes if its twice the saw .
looking for dependability, and durability as well .

Thoughts ?
by the way -Happy Fathers Day !

Heck get one of each of them 1 excalibur  one dewalt and one delta and one hanger.

Get your self a book called " HOW TO PRICE CRAFTS & THING YOU MAKE TO SELL" O/K it is an American book so laws and taxes are different than that of the U/K but I found it to be of help in pricing  my craft pieces.

Bill Ellis (Scotland)

nice tip going to look into that book.. thanks.

I used to work at Home Depot.  It should be on the trim isle.  It is usually in a roll around bin.  Lowes also has a selection on the trim isle.

No I was looking for the video that steve good make when he was at home depot I know where it is. but I just wanted to see it again.
