Heiko - I used a wonder wheel to grind the grooves into the hair.  I got the wonder wheel from JGR at www.intarsia.com.

Beautiful job Dan.  I agree with Janet, the eyes came out perfect. Now you'll have to make another one showing both Corgis.

Al - this one captures the younger one quite well.  The older dog, is from an earlier litter and is now turning pretty white around the face.  He is a little chunkier shall we say.  I am not sure if I could capture him as well.

We had a Corgi when my kids were young.  You captured their expression wonderfully.  Thanks for sharing.
