Title: Hello from Bakersfield
Post by: jomonto on August 29, 2018, 02:09:48 pm
Hi -

Greetings from the weird-coast! (-smile-)

I've been making xmas presents for the grandkids the last couple of years.
Ornaments for xmas too.

My three year old 16" Skill scroll saw broke last weekend. So I decided to make the leap and I have a new Excalibur 16" coming in this Friday!
I live in a 2 bedroom condo, so my "shop" is in the the front of the garage. With my limited space, the saw has to live on my work bench. So the 16' will be great.

Looking forward to stepping it up and learning more.

John, welcome to Steve's blog.  If the delivery was prompt, you should be the proud owner of your new  Excaliber.  hope you are enjoying your experience with your new saw.  There is a bounty of info here and many savvy folks willing to help.  Regards from Cypress, Texas.   GC

Thanks everyone for the greetings-

The saw arrived last Friday night. It's unpacked and on the bench waiting to be used.
Of course, had to go out of town for the long weekend, so I haven't had time to do anything other than to power her on and make her chooch.
I'll get started this weekend.

thanks again-
