Pattern Requests. / Doll cradle

Hi everyone. I'm looking for a doll cradle pattern for at least a 12 inch doll. Steve has one on his site but it's only for a 6 inch doll and I don't know how to make it bigger without messing up the scroll work design. Anyone have any ideas. Thanks Ralph.

Finished this the other day for my Granddaughter in N.C. She just had her 2nd baby. I hope she likes it. Made out 1/8 BB using a #2 reverse blade. The writing was really tricky on this one.

Here's a couple of plaques I just finished. The Red Sox one is for my brother and the Yankee one is for me. I want to thank Gordie for making the pasterns for me. These are made out od Oak and are about 15 x 4 1/2

This is a little something I just finished for my Granddaughter for her room. It's one of Steves designs but I changed it around a little. I used walnut with BB backing and Padauk for the trim to change it up a little. It's almost 8x10

Hi everyone, I'm trying to get a pattern for a kindergarten teacher I volunteer for as a gift. I want to do a wood portrait. I'm hoping one of you great pattern makers can do this for me. General Scroll Saw Talk / Blade sliping

Hi everyone, I seem to be having a minor problem. After I tighten my blade down, it seems to slide between the screw when I start to put the tension on it. Could it be i need a new screw or make it a little rougher so it don't slip. I'm always adjusting the tension as I'm scrolling to try and keep the blade tight. Thanks Ralph.

Computer questions / 404 error

Why can't I open links to some of the pictures people put on. Keep getting that 404 error. It only happens when there a link to the picture. When there's a picture already there I can click on it and open it in a lager window. Any ideas.

Here's a piece I just finished. It was a download from Steve's site. It's 1/4 BB and is an 8x10. It was one of the easiest one's I did. Wish they could all me so easy.

General Scroll Saw Talk / Putting a finish on Oak

Hi everyone. Quick question. I just finished making 4 desk name plates for a few teachers in school where I volunteer. There made out of Oak and I'm trying to decide what finish I should put on them. I was thinking just spray them with Poly. I also have some antique oil finish but I'm not sure how that would look. Any ideas. Thanks Ralph!

Brag Forum / Lot of Blade breaks.

Hi everyone. I left a comment on Paul's page about how he broke a lot of blades on his cutout. He had a lot of blade changes and that will cause a lot of breaks. I had the same problem on this pic using a 3/0 reverse blade. There's a lot of bending of the blade when you try to get it through that little hole and it wears down but I got it done. This is 1/4 in B/B, 8x10
