Title: Mounting war medal

Hi all. Looking for ideas to mount my father - in - law's war medals. All I've been able to come up with is something boxy. I've got the tools but not the imagination. Any ideas would be appreciated. Thank you.

I personally like the looks of a flag display case which can be a triangular shape or
the flag case on top with a square or rectangular area below for the medals, ribbons, etc.

One of the neatest I saw was an end table size with all of his decorations etc under glass.
