My wife and I are going to Alexandria (VA) to see my daughter.  I am leaving after work Saturday and coming back on Monday.  Everyone have a safe and happy Fourth of July!
On a side note I remember as a kid thinking that summer was half over after the fourth. Now, it seems, one day it is summer and the next it's the fourth.  "Tempus fugit" (sp.) the older I get.

On the 4th we also celebrate my grandaughter's birthday. She'll be 5 this year. She thinks the fireworks are just for her!

Happy 4th to all!

Ray, I was born on the third but still thought the fireworks were for me.  ;D

To tell the secret truth, I still like to pretend that, lol.

We are going on a small road trip on Saturday. Going to Ojai to check out the sights.
We'll be home in time to watch the NASCAR race in Daytona. Sunday working in the shop. I'm cutting Steve's Albert Einstein Portrait. Then I will be grilling some nice ribeyes and fresh corn on the cob.
At 6:00 pm pacific time July 4th I will hoist a cold one in toast to you all!

That's so cute about the fireworks "just for you".   I used to think the moon followed me :)

Sp thanks for putting in 10 for your fellow humans :)

Staying home and watching everyone around us shoot of their fireworks.
SP. I remember working the holidays. 24 hrs in a firehouse on Christmas with little ones at home was the worst. At least my Dept. gives you a couple of hrs. to go home and be with your family on Christmas & Thanksgiving. So be safe, and keep the rubber to the road. Dave 8)
