« on: January 08, 2014, 09:43:03 pm »
Here is a copy of her e mail to me.
This one's for you Keefie.

My surgery went well but I'm on my phone for a while. They only had to replace 1 ligament instead of 2. I'm home resting. Thanks for the prayers. Let keefie know I'm ok please.

So there you have it folks.

It's SheGold.. Thanks for the best wishes. Less pain today so thought I'd try the computer. All I can say is thank you all for prayers and best wishes.. I'm going to need a lot more prayer. I will be in brace at least 6 more weeks and start therapy Tuesday.. God bless you all .. Big hugs.. Sheila

Hey Sheila! Great news that you had successful surgery!

Knee repairs are great BUT when you start that PT make sure you follow all instructions and do all exercises as prescribed.

It gets to be a pain in the butt but you have to hang in...I know. I had a replacement and 2 of my granddaughters had ACL & MCL surgeries and they are totally back to normal, one of them even now has become an avid rock & mountain climber.

Do the Exercises!

I never really wanted to grow up....All I wanted was to be able to reach the cookie jar...and play with my DW 788

Hey She Gold.  Sorry I missed hearing about you knee surgery.  I hope you are doing well and that you will be back to Roller Derby and doing the Charleston in no time.  Therapy, time, and all our prayers will get you through it.
