General Scroll Saw Talk / question about blades

Hi ya'll....need a little direction on what are the best type patterns to use spiral blades. For example, Steve's Wolf Saw Blade and Wolf mini clock,seems to me that spirals are in order and Wolf Arrowhead you might use a flat blade. Can anyone point out some of Steve's patterns that would be best served by using spiral blades? Thanks in advance.....Forrest

I know that the Wen 3922 is a cheap item,but I am a hobbyist on a budget. I am hoping someone may know or have heard if it will hold in a pinless blade securely. It looks like they have changed blade holder configuration. I just hate to go through the hassle of buying it through Home Depot and then returning it... Anyone? Bueller?...Thanx

Probobaly a dumb question, but what the heck....Can you make an inside cut in a pattern and fill and bake the inside cut with polymer clay and then stain project? How do y'all go about finishing your items...Thanx...Red River

Hi everybody,
I go by the handle of red river and am new to scroll sawing, and I must say it has been a life saver as I recently retired and needed a hobby in the worst way. it has been a blast. I use an old Tradesman 8365, which uses pin end blades which limits my variety of patterns to cut but it will have to work for now.
Would someone please give me a suggestion or two on the following: I want to stack cut a pattern with  4 ea 6 " x 6 " 1/4" in pieces of baltic birch plywood but I am at a loss as to how to hold them together so they won't move when I cut. There is probobaly several different ways....Thanks in advance and Gig em Aggies
