I like this pattern/idea Steve made. (http://scrollsawworkshop.blogspot.nl/2015/08/little-ducky-pan-vent-scroll-saw-pattern.html?utm_source=feedburner&utm_medium=email&utm_campaign=Feed:+ScrollsawWorkshop+(Scrollsaw+Workshop))
This could be a nice gift or selling item....
Can imagine maybe Steve will making different shapes like Santa, reindeer for Christmas, or a turkey for Thanksgiving, etc.... (hint ;))
My thought is, maybe use Corian or these cheap plastic/poly cutting boards instead of wood. (no problem with steam/moisture)
The cutting boards are for sale in different colors for $ 2,-/3,- at the cheap discount shops. 8)
just an idea....

I saw these for sale on Pinterest or Esty a long time ago and used a silhouette and added a notch. We use them a lot. Works really well. So that being said I would print out some silhouettes of whatever holiday figures you want and add the notch. I used 1/4 inch wood and so far they have not warped.

I do like the plastic idea and as I never tried to cut plastic it would be a simple pattern to try it with.

UMMMM Plastic I wonder why they don't use plastic lids on saucepans perhaps because they melt. I don't think that's good to use stick to wood. I ONLY SAYING!
Now corian is a good one. Roly

Great idea on the Corian. They sell it up to 1/2 inch thick I believe. Thanks for sharing the idea with us.
