Post by: acemaker on April 25, 2010, 08:20:01 am
If your from Long Island, New York, (or if you really like to travel), there is a Scroll Saw Special Interest Group (SIG) in Smithtown.  The Long Island Woodworkers is the name of the general club and there is a special interest group called "The Long Island Scrollsaw Association" (L.I.S.A.).  We also have a cabinetmakers SIG; a carving SIG and a turning SIG.

L.I.S.A. meets every third Thursday of the month at 7:00 PM from January to December.  Meetings are held at Brush Barn (located behind the Historical Epenetus Smith Tavern), 211 E Jericho Turnpike Smithtown, New York.

If you are interested in learning more about our organization, please come to our monthly meeting. Guests are always welcome.
