Ask Steve a question. / Re: Last fall's Christmas tree ornaments
« on: June 12, 2015, 03:44:09 am »
Hi Bob:
I don't want to pry into your personal messages or tell you what to do
But you would have a better chance at a response from Steve if you e-mail him directly.
He rarely checks the Forum because of his busy schedule.
Maybe put something like "urgent need Christmas ornament" in the subject line or something similar
because he bypasses a lot of e-mails too. I think he eventually gets to them.
Glad to hear you are improving your scroll saw skills.
Keep at it, it will get a lot better in time.
Good luck with your ornaments and hope you get the response you're looking for

Ask Steve a question. / Re: Problem in tha forum
« on: March 06, 2015, 02:37:14 pm »
This issue was brought up on Feb 24.
Please check threads below.
Russ did reply saying that Steve is aware of the problem
and tp please be patient.
I'm sure Steve has other issues to deal with like SNOW
and work and a family life.
I'm sure when time permits it will be looked at and resolved
SO, let be patient and give Steve some time.
Thanks

The quick reply I got back from Russ on Feb 24 when I asked about it.

"Steve is aware of the problem.
Patience would be greatly appreciated."

Hang in there folks,
I'm sure Steve will let us know when he finds out what the problem is.

Have to agree 110% with you on this one Russ.
As long as I have been a member here, I have never encountered
any problems as far as malware/viruses.
Steve and yourself do one heck of a job keeping this site clean.
Thank you for that

Thanks Keith
I can see it this way
Nice one - Hope it attracts more business for you
it's not only your post that I cannot open
Anything with an attachment comes back as an error.
I know the problem is not at this end.

For some reason I can't open the attachment.   :(

Marg

Hi Marg:
I can't open any attachment anywhere
I was able to before but today I can't
I'm just wondering if Steve's new computer has changed a setting or two
Attachment not found is what I get on all of them right now

Tutorials, Techniques and Tips / Re: fretwork annoyance!
« on: February 15, 2015, 05:44:05 am »
Hi Seadog:
Are you using reverse tooth blades.
This is where the bottom 6 to 10 teeth on your blade point the other way (up)
This eliminate a lot of the fuzzies
Like Spirithorse mention a torch is a good quick method to get rid of them
Just don't stay in one spot too long, or you turn your project into designer firewood
Small file also works pretty good.
Good luck
