A gift
« on: August 05, 2013, 09:19:45 am »
This was one of a stack cut from 1/8 Baltic Birch Plywood.  The base idea came from this community, and I thank whoever provided the information regarding the base.  Seemed bare without the "frame" on the cutting, so I tried another idea.

Guess I screwed up and accomplished my mission - they both liked it.

Now I have been asked to cut an owl shape to be used for a clock.  Back to the shop.   :)

Al

Thanks again to Mahendra for the pattern, and the green background was a request as her favorite color.  Have a decent day.

She looks great Al. Thanks for the showing. I like the simplicity of your frame & stand. Keeps your eye on the young lady.
Also, the choice of backing colors is good and a nice touch from the standby - black.  Brian
