Saw blade question

Hi there srcollers
I?m new in scroll saw
and I?m from Sweden.
Can any one telll me what type of blade I should use
to cut metal and fiberglass thank?s

Flying Dutchman makes a metal blade for light copper and brass, and also a blade for heavier gauge aluminum. I have used the uliminum blades and they worked out great. Me personally I would avoid cutting fiberglass. The dust is very irritating and can cause lung issues similar to asbestos. If You want to cut Plexiglas your good to go. But me I would avoid fiberglass.

Hi Kristian,
Cutting steel is not easy on a scroll saw. It all depends on how thick it is. Most would use a diamond blade, they are very expensive. If the metal is very thin the metal cutting blade would be OK.
For fiberglas, I would use a blade with no reverse teeth, like the Polar blade. A # 5 is used the most.
