David, a nice piece of work for a baby shower is a simple stork silouette hold a blanket in its beak. Make the blanket large enough to insert a small round frame, so the parent can place a picture of their new baby in the frame. Also you can cut out on the stand, "Its a boy" or Its a girl".

Several years ago my son & daughterinlaw were about to have another child so I made stork centerpieces for each of the tables at thier shower with a larger one for the guest of honour table.  They all went home with somebody and we recieved a lot of compliments on them.

thanks for all the good ideals now i need ideals for gifts my wife is giving our daughter a baby shower an she wants me to make the gifts help me please
