When requesting a pattern from a picture you have, First; make sure it is not copyrighted and or you have permission to use it. Second; size, quality, resolution, brightness all help determine the patterns detail. I realize that web sites have limits to uploads, so just keep that in mind when choosing a picture for a pattern.... Hope this helps someone. 8)

..Or do what I do. Use http://photobucket.com and you can post the picture full size there and under each pic in your album(s) it gives you either direct links to the picture (which is what I have used on this site) or IMG links.
