Double Dolphin

This was my first intarsia piece. I have done this one twice (I also made the walnut frame). I just finished a 33 piece Tedy Bear. I am hoping to get a picture of it today

I really love the frame!  The whole picture is beautiful. I haven't done much Intarsia, as I am still doing segmentation. (Chicken, I guess!) What a nice piece though. :)

Very nice job on the Dolphins, I made an Intarsia very similar to yours years ago when I started scrolling. Beautiful job on th Frame also.

Absolutely Fantastic! As everyone else stated, the frame really sets it off.  That has to be a favorite. Hopefully one day I'll reach that level.

I see a lot of attempts at Dolphins in California, but I have to say your's are very nice. Adding the frame makes it a homerun. This would be a great piece for someone aspiring to try Intarsia. What are the eyes? Are they dyed or actual wood, or? I notice the strangest things. Ha...
