Great advice to take a class if available locally. Even a beginner class in scrolling with a starter project is great. I took one once when I first got my saw. It was at Woodcraft, and they let me bring my own saw. That way I was able to learn the basics, and get used to the saw I was going to use. Ask them if you decide. Some allow, some don't. Good luck and just do it!

Good luck BigE, Nice work evrybody that posted photo's. Maybe I should really venture into this area as well. The finished products all look so lifelike. Someday..
