Beautiful intarsia. I like them all but the one with the five birds is my favorite. It looks like they could fly away at any time. Thanks for sharing.
-
Lovely pieces. Maybe one day I will try my hand at it.

Thank you everyone. Appreciate your comments. I am going back for another class from JGR at the end of the month. Hopefully I will have some more to share in early summer.

Elipse scroller, was particularly taken with the "Arizona" piece; is the pattern available, if so through whom?

Yes that pattern is available. It is from Judy Gale Roberts and is I-45 "Arizona". Her website is: www.intarsia.com

Thank you Dan; checked her site and saw so much more that just inourages me to get more skilled so I can do justice to those landscape patterns.

Have never tried intarisia. very nice job on all the pieces. I like the last picture with all the guitars. Thanks for sharing.

Dan: Your work is totally mindboggling! I particularly liked the Turtle piece. Where did you get that pattern as I didn't see it on that intarsia site you referenced? I doubt that I would be able to do anything like that but those pieces are sure nice to look at! Great work!! Thanks for sharing.

Thank you for the comments. The turtle piece was in the Holiday 2008 Issue of SSW&C magazine by Tim Rogers. I made a few slight changes from the published pattern. I added a riser under the back so it would have more definition by being able to curve it more.

Those are some beautiful pieces there! To only have those skills....(sigh) one day I will be able to do that....LOL
