Title: Der Fl??er / The Woodrafter
Post by: heiko rettberg on July 01, 2010, 03:24:19 pm
The picture has got 113 pieces. The wood i took is mahogany, zebrano, oak, beech, limba, pine, and nut. This picture or to be the like of it, is painted on a house wall. From this picture i draw my patter.
I saw also an intarsia pattern of this in the WWW, but i can`t remember where.
I make it 2007

Very nice! Brings back memories of my great grandfather talking about logging when they logged off Wisconsin in the late 1800 early 1900's.

Very Nice job on your Intarsia. It also brings back memories of pictures I saw of my father and his brothers taken when they were logging in Michigan back about 1923.
