Doggy face for a friend
« on: December 18, 2013, 06:11:20 pm »
I've tried for a couple of days to turn this image into a Christmas ornament for a friend.  Everything I try just creates a far too detailed image, but to squeeze it down into a 4 inch circle and still capture the essence of the face seems to require artistic skills that I just don't have.

Hammi passed away 3 months ago after 12 years with his friends and I'd love to give them an ornament to remember him by.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hey ClayJ I never tried to make ornaments that size before but I did want to try and make a pattern for you. So I fooled around with a few programs I have trying to figure something out. and I did come up with this for you. Maybe it won't work out right but I just wanted to share it with you. I also know that the inside lines are a bit thick.

Travis.

Thank you so much Travis.  That is exactly what I was trying to do but  couldn't.  You got the ratio just right.

I already cut it out and delivered it to my friend.  She cried and said to thank you.
