Thank you for sharing your beautiful art work. It looks like a lot of cutting. Fantastic art for sure.

Rather nice work. Thanks for sharing it. Intarsia can be tricky. I was never good at the eyes, but you did a wonderful job on your work.

The Coffee Shop / Christmas Ornament Exchange
« on: August 14, 2018, 03:15:14 am »
I have been on and off for the past few years. It has been hard to work on my saw as much as  I like. Between work, school, and life...anyway, I was wondering if we are going to do an ornament exchange this year? I sure would like to get in on it if there is a group doing this. Please let me know.

This is truly sad news. He will be missed by many around the world. This forum has been good to me, and it is sad to hear we lost one. I will miss his great posts.

Nice. How many flash drives does she own? I have one and it holds a ton of files. But I guess if someone has a lot of need that would do it. Thanks for sharing.

Nice. I made a key ring holder from a modified pattern from Steve Good. Your pattern looks well done. Nice and shiny red. Mine was in the shape of a cowboy hat and had a cowboy and horse as part of the design. Love seeing modified patterns. Thanks for sharing.

Brag Forum / Dragon

My sister loves Dragons. Our schedules have been off over the past month. I made her this dragon and globe from a Steve Good pattern (Thanks Steve  :) ).

This is made from Cherry. I used Teak Oil on it. It still is a bit wet in the picture but the oil will soak in over night. I think it turned out pretty good. I give it to my sister tomorrow.

I am thinking about using resin to fill in holes in scroll art. Has anyone done this and if so, what is your best advice?

Im okay. I miss getting on here more often. Been busy with full time work, working on a Masters, helping with Trail Life USA (Christian version of scouting) and being happily married. I am working on my saw some every now and then....but life does get busy.

Wow, those are amazing! I have not been all that good at inlays. Your work is very well done. I need to learn the technique someday.

If anyone hears of an event in Phoenix that would be great. I live in Glendale. Love my work, but don't meet many people in the art of it all.

Wow, that is great! I bet she loved it. Did you paint the head white or is that a wood you used? Either way it is well done art.
