Creative Woodworking and Crafts are not in business.

You sometimes can see some issues for sale on ebay.  I wanted a specific issue, and I emailed one of the sellers and about a month later she found it and sold it to me at a reasonable price.

I have not seen one like that so you may be able to have some one do it at Scroll Saw Village if you have good picture. Under Pattern requests.

Baring that it might be something Charles Dearing might be interesting in doing probably for a fee.  He does fabulous patterns.

There is a video that uses word and then adds keys with a pencil.
https://youtu.be/s8K6HgG7Iv4

I use Inkscape just like this but I add the keys in Inkscape.

If this is not the type of puzzle you are looking for let me know.

Firstly, Steve rarely comes and answers questions here.  I would suggest you email him via the blog and if you are lucky you might get a response.  Steve gets 1'000s of emails and sometimes he just can't keep up.

I have looked over all my Calligrapher fonts and can't see it.  There are so many Calligrapher fonts I have stopped loading.  You can check with dafont.com or design https://fontbundles.net/.

If you get an answer please post back here.

Thanks

I have the fish a gif as below.

I also have it as an svg for Inkscape.  If you want that please send an PM with you email and I will send.

With Inkscape you can do envelope deformation to warp the text inside the fish but I am not sure how Elizabeth would fit.  I probably is a lot of work.

Email sent but for those interested

The font you are showing is actually Cooper Black and was generated using Steve Good's Stencil maker.  I suggest you reload the stencil maker from the blog scroll way down to find.

Do you have a picture of something done with that font?

I am a hoarder of scroll fonts and do not have that named font.

If you PM me with you email account I have a zip file with 47 scrollabble fonts that you could see if one matches.

In Canada we have he blue painters tape by 3M.  It holds really well with no residue but it is really expensive.

Our local Home Hardware had a sale on there own brand.  It is just okay.  If you have fine detail like between letters it will lift.  I have the same issue with shelf liner too.

I am curious why you used scotch tape?

I usually cover my wood with painters tape or shelf liner and attach my pattern to that.  Lifts off with no residue.

When I do attach directly to the wood I use a heat gun to remove pattern and then mineral spirits before finishing.

There is probably no incorrect way to do the sanding as long as you get the contour you are after.

I bought the Intarsia Workbook by Judy Gale Roberts and did all 11 patterns.  I did buy a Flex-Drum sander from Judy that I used a lot.  I also used the little sanding drums on my Dremel.  https://intarsia.com/pages/beginner-intarsia\

I also watched a bunch of videos and one I have bookmarked is https://youtu.be/LFRWu9AKLnk  She does use a pneumatic sanding drum but s flex-drum works about the same.  I mounted my flex-drum on a cheap variable speed sander.

Good luck
