Title: new to all this.

i have made things from wood before but am new to "woodworking".
i started putting together a very small shop and my wife surprised me with a scroll saw.
i have grown to enjoy it and want to go farther.

hi judy and julie,
i am from all over the states... have lived in 9.
for the last almost 20 years in have lived near a place call monkey's eyebrow, Ky and am here to stay.
i bought a few tools i needed to make a wedding gift for my son. ( pick below, yes that is his face in the box)
i talked about getting a scroll saw in passing but my wife did not pass it up. she surprised me with a wen.
i have a lot of projects going at the moment but can't wait to get back to my scroll saw. (first finished scroll project below.)

Welcome.  Don From Brooklin Ontario Canada.  Just east of Toronto

Steve's blog and site are fantastic.  Make sure you get his keychain and scroll pattern printer program.  It is way down on the blog.  I have made a couple hundred key chains as they are really great presents.  I usually don't sell anything but have taken on a couple of orders as my daughter who gives them out to all her teachers as Christmas presents which starts the chain.

She has changed schools this year and so she already has a request to the "Daddy do list"

Welcome.  Don From Brooklin Ontario Canada.  Just east of Toronto
