I believe most of them are 1 1/2" by 1 1/2" but others, such as this one,
https://images.search.yahoo.com/search/images;_ylt=A0LEV0lNTzJZicQAoe1XNyoA;_ylu=X3oDMTEycTdlYjQzBGNvbG8DYmYxBHBvcwMxBHZ0aWQDQjM5NTBfMQRzZWMDc2M-?p=compound+cut+scroll+saw+patterns&fr=yfp-t-s&th=121&tw=80&imgurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.scrollsawinspirations.com%2FPictures%2FDolphin-Large.jpg&rurl=http%3A%2F%2Fwww.chicoschoolofrock.com%2FZTk5N-compound-cut-scroll-saw-patterns.html&size=27KB&name=How+to+Build+Compound+Cut+Scroll+Saw+Patterns+PDF+Plans&oid=2&h=528&w=354&turl=http%3A%2F%2Fts1.mm.bing.net%2Fth%3Fid%3DOIP._6RlUPyfQiY0X8JadfvElgDJEs%26pid%3D15.1%26rs%3D1%26c%3D1%26qlt%3D95%26w%3D80%26h%3D121&tt=How+to+Build+Compound+Cut+Scroll+Saw+Patterns+PDF+Plans&sigr=12cjigo0f&sigit=12v6jclei&sigi=11orqufsb&sign=11naejhn4&sigt=11naejhn4

can be 3/4" by 1 1/2".
The length can vary to match what-ever subject you are cutting but, the
width has to be small enough to fit under the arm of the scrollsaw unless you
can cut them on a band-saw.
You can probably find some compound cut books in a local library.
Good luck and God Bless! Spirithorse
